6. Walk back down to Kiyomizu-Gojo station and catch Keihan Line to Fushimi Inari station.
The walk takes about 20 minutes. The train ride takes 7 minutes and costs 200 Yen OR
The closest you can get is Tofukuji Station, one station north of Inari Station. From there
you can take a city bus to Gojozaka (220 yen/ride or 500 yen for a 1-day pass) and walk
up to Kiyomizudera (about 10-15 minutes).
Fushimi Inari Shrine is located just outside JR Inari Station, the second station from Kyoto
Station along the JR Nara Line (5 minutes, 140 yen one way from Kyoto Station, not
served by rapid trains). The shrine can also be reached in a short walk from Fushimi Inari
Station along the Keihan Main Line.

Arrive in Arashiyama and head to the monkey park on the south of the Togetsukyo
Bridge. It takes about 20 minutes to climb the mountain to see the monkeys, and there

13. How to get there?
The approach to Meiji Shrine starts a few steps from Harajuku Station on the JR
Yamanote Line or Meiji-jingu-mae Station on the Chiyoda and Fukutoshin Subway Lines.
The entrance to the shrine is just a one minute walk from the station.

14. Directions:
Pancake Days cafe is tucked away in Harajuku Bell Pier, a boutique gallery of cafes in a
side street called Onden, just three minutes’ walk from Exit 4 of Meiji-Jingumae Subway
Station. As you walk into the sunshine from the subway, take a 180 degree u turn, and
head South East. Once you cross the Meiji Dori traffic light inter-section, walk past the
UFJ bank on your right and then turn right on the second block down the side street, and
then the white Harajuku Bell Pier building is about 50 meters on your right. From JR
Harajuku Station it is a slightly longer five minute walk on the same route.

22. From Tokyo Station, take the train down to Yokohama on the JR Keihin Tohoku Line
toward Isogo. This is a milk run kind of train and it will take you 40 minutes to get to
Yokohama Station. At Yokohama Station - stay on board this train - it becomes to the JR
Negishi Line and continues one stop to Sakuragicho Station. You exit at this station, go
out the east exit to the bay. Follow the crowd out across a big plaza to cross the street
to reach the shore. There will be a pedestrian causeway that takes you over to the
Yokohama World Porters Mall. Walk through or around the west side of the mall to go
behind it and reach the Nissin Cup Noodle Museum which is on the opposite corner from
the Cosmoworld Theme Park here (has a big ferris wheel).
