2. What is peace?
“By peace, we mean the capacity to transform conflicts with empathy, without
violence, and creatively- a never-ending process”
By – Johan Galtung.
“Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.”
By – Albert Einstein.
But due to some factors we can not attain peace. There are many such factors
present but here I restrict myself to only two i.e., terrorism and crime.
3. Terrorism
The term terrorism means the awful, unlawful use of violence and intimidation especially
against civilians in the pursuit of political aims.
Many times it has been observed that the country like Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other
poor countries they were formed a different unofficial armed organizations to create and
control certain important geographical areas or over people.
But after some time they lost direct control over the organization and that will lead to
many terrorist activities.
To achieve the dirty political agenda many poor innocent children and people were brain
washed on the basis of religious conflicts and converted into militants.
4. That organization spread violence and kills innocent people.
Such terrorist organizations are named ISIS, Al-Qaida, Taliban, and Al-Umar-
Mujahideen.
The main reasons for becoming a child to terrorists are mentioned below i.e.,
1. Poverty
2. Illiteracy
3. Lack of awareness
4. Low living standards
5. Dirty political agendas
5. Crime
Crime, the intentional commission of an act usually deemed socially harmful or
dangerous and specifically defined, prohibited, and punishable under criminal law.
Crime can be done on the basis of five primary categories:
I. Crime against the person
II. Crime against property
III. Inchoate crimes(conspiracy)
IV. Statutory crimes (alcohol-related crimes, traffic offenses)
V. Financial and others crimes.
6. Conclusion
“Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be
Real must be unaffected by outside circumstances”
By- Mahatma Gandhi
Peace can be retained by several mediums or modes such as yoga, meditation, spending time with
parents, and children, and performing certain activities like social work such as blood donation,
plantation, and cleaning our surroundings.
But, due to some unsocial, criminal mindset the peace of society is always compromised.
Education is the only way in which we can reform these types of minds and their duty objectives.
Through quality education we can smoothly tackle the challenges to peace like terrorism and crime
and become a great and healthy nation in the world.
