Life before FME…Contractors and Code
In the last 8 years, ENMAX’s Geomatics group
has been using FME primarily for mass data
conversions between CAD and ArcGIS 9.2
formats.
Recently, FME has been applied in many other
projects as a powerful and dynamic ETL tool in
our organization.
7. Outage Database Update Process
ENMAX Outages is a custom application that
produces internal notifications regarding outages
in our distribution area.
FME process updated the Excel spreadsheet file
that is used as input for ENMAX Outages. The
update frequency is monthly.
