• Norwalk conducted field
testing indicating a 75% reduction in
hydrocarbons and bacteria. Three

• Future plans include
purchase of 100 UUFs for replacement
filters, expansion to 100 additional
locations and the installation of an end
of pipe vault application.

• Village of Babylon has been
instrumental in the initial field testing of
AbTech end of pipe vaults. Babylon
initially installed three vaults in 2006.
• After two years of field
experience the Village of Babylon and
Suffolk County announced the
expansion of the end of pipe vaults to
all 92 of their stormwater outfall pipes
that drain into Long Island Sound.

Conch Street Outfall which serves a

Engineering will be completed in the
Fall of 2009.
