Our daily self-dialogue needs to be controlled in a certain way which should be
regarded as healthy, i.e., positive attitudes. It then leads us to the most prominent
thing about us, which is our words. The concept of words plays an essential role in
our characters.
Mindset is an excellent toolkit we can benefit from and adapt it to develop a
bulletproof figure. In other words, our personality is built up through different
complex elements. One of them is our words that shape our notion towards the
universe and vice versa.

esteem.

1- Start Doing Meditation
Before getting started in any field, we need to have a well-balanced stress-free
mood that allows us to strike. Therefore, it is obvious that we need to take some
time to recharge ourselves.
We have always heard that things will not happen in only one night! It is actually
true because things are not going to alter anything; it is us! We can do it together.
Meditation is one of those best practices of mind to building that muscle to punch in
the face of problems or issues that might arise one day to interrupt us in our life,
relationships, career, etc.
So, the real question is how our words are engaged in this criterion. Well, they show
themselves when our mind hears us. It is the same strategy that is advised to a
person with low self-esteem.
With only one hour a day, you can reach that state where you will get anything you
want because you have potentially worked on it.
So, take some time and meditate. Then, you will have a bright mind to focus on your
works.
 
2- Write Down Y
our Thought
Now that you have freed your mind let us see how we can acknowledge our
thinking. No matter whether we are stuck in a dilemma or okay with everything,
writing is inevitable!
One of the best performances in self-awareness is a self-observatory interpretation.
But, first, we need to perceive what our neurons are communicating in our brain. It
is by writing that we will then undoubtedly see what is going on.
Look at what is normal. It is apparently not an ideal condition because we would call
it optimum. We should acknowledge normals because now that we see something
is ordinary, it is actually signaling us to change. It is how our mind works; we
observe some symptoms, we (should) solve them. If not, we will be stuck in
darkness.
In order to reach this level of awareness, we need to write. If you are unsure about
it, then that is the barrier we are talking about. We write to identify the limits our
mind has made for us to find and resolve.
Try taking some time during a week to talk with your mind, and it will tremendously
help!
 
3- Speak in a Positive Way

Speaking positively does not mean spreading some ludicrous speech that everyone
is tired of it. Speaking in a positive way is a scheme by which we control our
unconscious mind. Yes, that is because we are not aware of how we really think.
We might consider it emotional release, but it is a mental suppression that will block
thinking function.
The way we talk should be taken seriously. It can humble or humiliate someone,
giving life or death. Then, what if we understand that we are always doing it to
ourselves, but we are only not aware of it?
Change the way you talk to yourself and others because every time you speak, a
different part of your mind is involved in this situation. It is a mutual connection.
Instead of saying, “I can’t do this,” say, “I need to recharge to get some energy
before taking further action.” Do not say, “I am a failure,” say, “I think I need to try
more, just like breathing that keeps me alive. I need to push forward to feel that
alive.” It is the truth because no one cannot say it without ten-times try and more.
You unlock this stage after passing step (2) when you know how you actually think.

4- Put ‘Y
et’ in Y
our Daily Vocabulary




Yet is a very powerful word. Many stages in life drain our potential. We even know
that these things are temporary, but what happens that we take care of it?
Perfection. We need to accept it to maintain our journey. We want to fix most of the
things fast. That is why you are here. However, perfection is not itself a bad issue. It
helps in many different ways. So, why are we so concerned with it?
That is because we are not aware of it. Things get confusing regarding the type of
job we have, relationship issues, and totally the type. We need to accept this ‘yet’
thing then.
As mentioned before, you should embrace and acknowledge it when you see
barriers in your way. These are the signs that help you work more efficiently in order
to get into trouble. The actual concern and trouble do not come with this temporary
matter, but it comes along when you live with this mood for the whole years of your
life.
All you need to do is to replace ‘not’ and negative statements with ‘yet.’ For
example, instead of saying, “I can’t do this assignment,” tell yourself that, “I need yet
to try more.” There you see the time you get, and that is what you want to keep your
mindset alongside your career and passion. You want to be understood to yourself.
 
5- Be a Good Listener to Y
ourself
Become a good listener! Listening to others is not that much a self-dialogue
communication itself, but what if I say what you hear will, of course, affect you in
return. A good listener pays attention to the words that the speaker uses and
makes a differentiation. So, the point is when you understand yourself, you can
make a duality within the empathy.
It is a great strategy that allows you to choose from who you want to get
influenced. Because most of the time, if we are around some people that tend to
decrease our self-esteem by not paying attention to what they say, they will surely
have some deadly effect on us.
So, how does it work?
With the help of technique number two, when you are talking to someone, get a
page and a pen and start writing what the speaker is talking about. When you do
not write, you are touching it merely with your mind. There is no layer to
differentiate it.
This is what psychologists do. You can make a clear mind and give people advice or
sympathize with them, and you will not get lost in their minds because you have
written your route to come back out of the discussion in your little real-life inside
your head.
 
6- Question it Till Y
ou Make it

You have probably heard this famous saying, “Fake it till you make it.” But, we want
to question it in our frame to understand it fully.
Many Philosophers from Socrates’ era argued upon questioning. Sometimes all you
need to do is to ask yourselves. Yes, the answer might be easy, but you think it is
not easy, so you start overthinking and would never get the final result.
You may want to question how to do this thing, how I think, how I behave to myself,
how I define myself, etc. These questions keep you fresh with new ideas about
yourself, and you will progress every day.
To do this, you need to put ‘how’ in your daily life. For example, instead of saying, “I
can’t do this thing,” try saying, “I wonder to know how I can do this.” Put the heavy
on ‘can’ because you have the ability to do it!

7- Be At Y
our Own Standard
Being at your own standard is quite crucial because you are not born to fulfill others’
expectations, right? As a human being, you are free to make your life that feels
good to you.
You may say what about the expectation of my boss or family? Well, it depends.
You can do all your boss’ orders without having any authority to present your
emotions or make any change. Or, you can always listen to your family and let them
decide who you are going to be in the next ten years. Both of them are toxic, right?
But, you can be the one that proves themselves to the boss by showing they
deserve this position and can go beyond. You can also be someone that your family
will adore in the next ten years. However, as mentioned above, it all depends. It
depends on your behavior.
So, clear out that voice that tells you to be perfect in others’ sight. Instead, it would
be best to fit in your standard, depending on how you react.

8- Eliminate Give Up from Y
our Dictionary

Giving up is not and never has been a good solution. In a sense, one would sweep it
under the carpet.
You will always find an answer! Remember, an answer, not a justification. Life is like
a mathematical equation that you need to play with the X of your problems in order
to find the explanation for it.
Bear in mind that you are spending time by every time you are thinking about giving
up. This is the courage to think about it because many people are not even aware of
themselves. So, why not getting a paper and start solving the X?
 
9- Develop Y
our Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence realizes our feelings. However, it does not stop at feeling
your emotion; it helps you communicate with your mind.
It is of utmost importance that we learn how to control frustration, stress,
depression, etc. There are many videos and lectures available on YouTube that help
you grow this aptitude.
Once done, you will achieve a level which nothing can stop you from getting where
you deserve and, of course, desire.
 



our Words
The following is a list of words that activates you to initiate your mindset:
Use “I get to” instead of “I have to.”
Use “I’m growing every day” instead of “I’m not enough.”
Use “I need to try more” instead of “I’m so bad at it.”
Use “It takes some time to accomplish” instead of “It’s too hard for me.”
Use “What I’m missing” instead of “I’m done.”
Use “I can learn anything I want” instead of “I’m not born to do this.”
Use “I need to look different” instead of “That’s nonsense.”
Final Words
The techniques brought above help you stay on the right track to thinking properly
even before talking with yourself. One of the crystal clear differences between fixed
mindset and growth mindset is that the prior is blurred with words and lost in their
nonexistent word, ‘inability.’ As the definition provokes, we conduce ourselves by
any sort of means to improve every day in the growth mindset. That is why
changing your words will definitely change your mindset because you will take
charge of the voice inside your head.

This is what I call a useful article! Thank you!
I have a 7 years old kid and I am always trying to watch my words in front of him because what I say he repeats
and what he repeats will become a part of his mindset. Sometimes I repeat positive affirmations and I realized that
he is listening to me and the moment I finish he starts repeating sentences such as “I am blessed” 😄
