This document provides instructions for a summative assessment exam in social science for class 9 students. It consists of 31 questions ranging from very short answer to long answer questions. Questions 1-8 are very short answer questions worth 1 mark each. Questions 9-20 are 3 mark questions not exceeding 80 words. Questions 21-28 are 5 mark questions not exceeding 100 words. Questions 29-30 are 3 mark map questions requiring students to locate and label items on maps provided. Question 31 is an open text question worth 10 marks. Detailed instructions are provided on the expected answer length and format for each question type.
