Introduction
As technology continue growing so does its suability and diversity on its use. Different to
what was perceived as business technological development, technology has also bene currently
employed in human behavior most specifically on the human behavior. This ah snot only been
demonstrated within the hanuman resource behavior of employees but also within the
psychological part of human’s sexual behavior. The views are also supported by Brisson &
Nguyen (2017, p. 1068) who acknowledges that advances in technology has allowed most users
to interact with others globally and a new study further on adults suggests that technology
increasingly increase connections of people as their most intimate moments. Techno sexuality is
a sexual orientations accepted by some individuals whose sexual desires are related with
technology. This has been the reason why technosexuals have preferred technology to human
sexual relations. The paper seeks to find out how technology ha influenced the psychology of
Human Sexuality.
Discussion
Osiurak (2017) argues that sexuality forms one of the primary drives behind each
person’s feelings, behaviors and thoughts. It often defines the means of biological reproduction,
helps in describing psychological and sociological representations of self and orients an
individual’s attraction to others. Furthermore, its plays a crucial role of shaping the brain and
body to be pleasure seeking. Yet as crucial as sexuality is too human, it is as well viewed as a
taboo topic for personal or scientific inquiry. Definitely this has been the reason why technology
has changed the perception to current behavior allowing at least a wider population in the society
to embrace the issue of sexuality.

On the basis of examining the effects and the development of technology is the analysis
of how it has changed the human thinking nature. Technology has played a major role in one’s
nature of thinking and this has been evident from the nature of relationship with each other. The
traditional way of interactions on sexual matters as changed, issues that were rarely discussed on
public can be clearly seen on social media platform. It’s through such exposure that the
psychology of human sexuality has changed. The nature and way sexuality was perceived
continue changing as technology promotes more exposure of the sexual life. First the technology
effects of sexuality among the human’ psychology is the change of social behaviors. With
technology people have managed to interact through emails, phone calls, video calls literary
replacing the traditional ways of meeting. Eleuteri, Saladino, & Verrastro argue that this fact
cannot be ignored hence social bond that human shared has been affected by technology
advancements (2017, p. 352). Furthermore, the times people used to hang out with friends and
relatives has changed. Technology through zoom has mediated dating online and the psychology
of generation Z in regard to sexuality is different to the traditional ways. A process whose
outcome would be traced to different process, has been cut short with technology. The approach
has even made it common for users to perceive as the right approach of either dating or engaging
to sexual relationships to the traditional ways of having to meet.
Different to sexual exposure arising from technology described as positive learning,
negatively through pornographic materials, self-identity has been affected a factor that has also
had a major shift of sexuality. First, as argued by Eleuteri, Saladino, & Verrastro (2017) the
nature of pornification which has to do with the visibility culture has had effects on the notions
of body appearances and demeanor. The pornographic uses arising from easy accessibility
arising from technological growth has had a cultural change and a psychological shift of human

sexuality. Youths have currently had a major change on behavioral response to sexuality issues.
A research done by Osiurak (2017, p. 245) on youth’s behavior on internet usage, a study
involving 100 teenagers would establish that 70% of the teenagers had access to pornographic
materials and this was one of the highly viewed material online.
Based on pornographic content and technological interactions, a research conducted by
Brisson & Nguyen (2017) aimed at examining some motivations for Internet pornography use
established for major factors that contribute to its use as mood management, fantasy, relationship
and habitual use. The research as ell would establish that individuals having more erotophilic
tendencies would be more motivated to use internet pornography for all four motivations than
those with eroticphopic tendencies. On the effects of technology on psychology on human
sexuality, it would be expressed that individuals with social anxiety would always tend to use
pornography more as a way of fulfilling social and sexual needs.
For years now, there has been a general of technology particularly new and upcoming
technologies. According to (Courtice & Shaughnessy, 2017, p. 278) technology has had its
negative impacts as well as its positive impacts on sexuality matters. While it has been widely
criticized on its increased promotion of child abuse facing teenagers in social media and sharing
of sexual inappropriate information, it has also been a source for personal satisfaction on issues
of relationship and sexual matters.
According to Brisson & Nguyen (2017) technology has played major role when it comes
to influencing the behavior of emotional and sexual interactions among the world’s pollution. Ina
n expansive survey of more than 8,000 Americans conducted in late 2019, Kinsey institute
researchers did establish that the use of sex tech is on the rise and users report feeling connected
to virtual partners both sexually and emotionally. It’s also of essence to acknowledge that

through technology different suits have managed to create human behavior omnisexuality
through learning. An overarching findings by Eleuteri, Saladino, & Verrastro (2017) would
establish that individuals who engaged with ex tech reported less loneliness and less depressions
compared to those who were not engaged with sex tech , however , only for the participants that
engages who felt an emotional or personal connections with the their virtual partners (p. 359).
Furthermore, the leave did establish that relatively lower rates of loneliness were as well found
for individuals holding more positive attitude towards their own sexuality as was greater
satisfaction with their lives overall.
According to Courtice & Shaughnessy (2017, p. 271) technological growth has enhanced
the way people interact online. Different to traditional ways of letters with online dating, online
conversations people can fall in love. This has really changes the psychology of human sexuality
nature. What was previous viewed as inappropriate is currently globally adopted. A study done
by Osiurak, 2017 ( p. 268) on 50 participants, 50 percent of the participants has viewed
pornographic contents online on websites such as “porn clip sites” and 35% had visited erotic
fiction websites. On the other hand, 31% of the respondents had been engaged in phone sex and
of those involved in sexting, 37 percent did so with a person they have had a connection with. Of
the 100 residents 16 percent had visited camming websites, and streamed camming videos and
also participated in the streamlining.
From the research respondents of all sexual orientations and genders had visited the
camming websites but the bisexual and gay men were much more. Participants who as well
visited the websites were asked if they had ever felt to have personal or emotion connection after
some visits. From a sample of 100%, 74 percent felt to have experienced sexual gratifications,
while 68% would receive support emotionally, as 66% experienced emotional attachment. From

analysis, it would be established that rurally technology in relations to love connection between
humans has been obsolete. The established research findings do provide a vivid provisions that
se each, including the under researchers practice of camming, does really facilitate emotional
intimacy even if the said technology and interactions among the individuals is primary
understood to be primarily sexual in nature.
The psychology of human sexuality has been defined under the components of sexual
identity. The biological sex, gender, social sex role and sexual orientations. The technological
part of human’s sexuality has tried to influence the social sex role. This is the identity that
encompasses a range of individual attitudes, and behaviors which are generally valued as
appropriate, desirable, or acceptable for an individual based on that person’s biological or
perceived sex. The world having been transformed to technological world, social sex roles have
impacted most individuals. It’s of essence to acknowledge that through technology and the
increased education of gender equality sexual behavioral and psychology perception have
changed for the last one decade. What was perceived as western culture of promoting equity is
currently widespread across the world. This does not disqualify the fact that it’s through such
approaches Nesi, Kamke, Choukas-Bradley, & Stewarta, 2018 (p. 657) the social sex roles which
is one of the component of human sexuality has changed. Women and men although of different
gender they have been perceived of equal opportunity.
Conclusion
Technology has globally played a crucial role in not only enhancing the nature through
which business operate but also the way through which person interact. On wider range
technology has also been felt in the human sexuality. As demonstrated from different researchers
through technology there has been a change of the way individuals interact through social media

platforms. Often what was perceived secretive, through technology it has been open for
accessibility. This has not only been a major change on human behavior towards sexuality but
also an exposure of one’s psychological exposure.
