Cell phones should not be allowed in school according to the author for several reasons. First, cell phones could ring and disrupt class, distracting students from learning. Second, students may use their phones to text or call friends during class, causing them to miss important lessons. Additionally, cell phones could enable cheating if students use apps or the internet during tests. The author believes cell phones have no place in a school environment where the focus should be on learning.

- I vote to have no cell phones in school because they are very distracting!
- There are many more consequences then this. Try to think of them all.
- A good example is say you are at school and your friend texts you saying that she is inviting you to a sleepover tonight. Then the teacher calls on you to answer a question and you don’t have any idea what the question is.
- If your cell phone rings while your at school there could be many consequences.
- A example of this is say you are at school and your cell phone rings your teacher could take it away and your friends could get mad at you. I would not want my friend getting mad at me. That is why I say no to cell phones.
- Cell phones are bad in class for those reasons and many more.
