Use your personal Facebook page to post about Project UNIFY
and things you’re doing with Special Olympics in your school.
You can share:
• Photos from recent events
• Relevant news articles relating to Project UNIFY, Special Olympics or
youth leadership

• Anecdotal experiences that inspire you to be share, Kaitlyn!
involved (luckily, they happen all the time!)
• A Special Olympics or PU Facebook status
• Videos, experiences and much, much more!
Don’t keep it a secret! Tell people about your involvement with PU!

Are you hosting a Partner’s Club, SO College or Special Olympics
event at your school? Create a Facebook Event and invite all of
your friends! Even if they can’t come, they’ll learn more about you
and your passion for Special Olympics!
Invite your friends to join you for the amazing Special Olympics experience!

PROMOTING PU ON FACEBOOK
The Special Olympics Project UNIFY Facebook page is a great
place for people who ♥ PU (wait, isn’t that everyone?!) to
talk, share ideas and more!
As the leaders of this movement, we need your help to get the
conversation started!

• Ask a question
• Share your passion
It’s pretty boring, when
we’re the only ones sharing!
We need your voices!

NOW FOR SOME TIPS
Share RELEVANT and VALUABLE information
• Don’t bombard your friends (they’ll block you) - share stories
and experiences that are valuable to you and your friends!
PROOFREAD and be PROFESSIONAL
• Even though your on your personal account, it’s still important
to remember, when you’re posting about Project UNIFY, you’re
representing Project UNIFY – so be a good example! 
