1. Insert pixel code into header of your website
2. Facebook will track purchases on your website
3. Then your website’s ads will appear on customers’ Facebooks

● Can use it by either the nine actions taken or custom conversions you can
create yourself
● The nine events are:
○ View content
○ Search
○ Add to cart
○ Add to wishlist
○ Initiate checkout
○ Add payment info
○ Make purchase
○ Lead
○ Complete registration
7. How To Use It: Custom Conversions
● Uses URL rules based on certain URLs or URL keywords
● Ex: Use FB Pixel to track record views of specific merchandise on your
website, instead of tracking views of all content using the “view
content” standard event
