This is an introduction to our new register of apprentice assessment organisations, for employers.
The register lists all organisations that have been assessed as being suitable to conduct independent end-point assessment of apprentices and be in receipt of public funds.
Organisations can only be selected to undertake independent end-point assessment of apprentices if they are listed on the register.
2. Introduction
• We have created the register of apprentice assessment organisations (the
register) for employers.
• It is a list of organisations that have been assessed as being suitable to conduct
independent end-point assessment of apprentices and be in receipt of public
funds.
• An apprentice is unable to complete and achieve an apprenticeship without
taking and passing the end-point assessment.
• Organisations can only be selected to undertake independent end-point
assessment of apprentices if they are listed on the register.
• This is not part of a SFA procurement for services and we will not be entering
into a contract with organisations on the register.
3. How the register
will assist employers
• We have created the register to help employers.
• Employers will use the register to select an organisation to undertake
independent end-point assessment of apprentices.
• Employers will determine the process for selection.
• The lead training provider will then contract with the end-point assessment
organisation, on behalf of the employer.
4. Application process
• Organisations applying to the register must understand the apprenticeship
standard and assessment plan they wish to undertake end-point assessment
against. They must also have expertise and experience in the occupational
area they are working in.
• The latest list of assessment plans we are accepting applications against is
available in our published guidance documents.
• Over time, we will invite applications against other apprenticeship standards
and assessment plans.
• The register is always open to new applications at the Bravo Solution portal.
• Applicants to the register must be legal entities.
5. Application form
• All applicants will need to complete the online application form.
• The full list of questions, together with detailed applicant guidance, is available
at the Bravo Solution portal.
• The questions are grouped into the following headings:
• Organisation
• Compliance
• Financial management
• Financial health
• Capacity and capability – occupational
• Capacity and capability – assessment
• Declarations

evidence that the organisation no longer meets the requirements of the register.

register.
