SCA is a global hygiene products and paper company with net sales of SEK 109 billion in 2010. It has 45,000 employees in over 100 countries. In 2010, personal care accounted for 29% of sales and 30% of EBIT, tissue 27% of sales and 25% of EBIT, packaging 22% of sales and 16% of EBIT, and forest products 15% of sales and 16% of EBIT. SCA aims to grow through cost reductions, efficiency programs, innovations, and expanding in emerging markets where hygiene product penetration is currently low.
