Every Tuesday, 10-11:30am – BOSS Meeting - BOSS Representatives are invited to
participate in BOSS meeting at the Nash BOSS Center. Here you will learn about
upcoming events that BOSS is hosting or supporting, volunteer opportunities and an
opportunity to bring up any quality of life issues. Ask your Brigade BOSS
Representative when your next meeting is going to be held.
Every Friday, 8pm – Movie Night - Stop on by the BOSS centers either at Jack T
Sweet Complex or on Nash Blvd. to watch a movie on the big screen. Free popcorn at
the movie.
1 January 11am-11pm – Home for the Holidays – BOSS 11am-11pm BOSS
invites you to feel at Home for the Holidays on 1 January to their Nash Blvd center when
they open their doors. Snacks and beverages will be offered starting at Noon. Available
will be gaming, pool, and Cyber Café for keeping in touch with friends and family. The
BOSS center is your home away from home throughout the holidays.
12 January, 11am - Trip to Snow Ridge Ski Resort– Come and hit the sloops with
BOSS in the beautiful Adirondacks at Snow Ridge Ski Resort. The cost is $30 for
military and $50 for dependants. Snow Ridge Ski Resort is in Turin, NY, about one hour
from Fort Drum. Call today to reserve your spot at 315-772-8222. Only 20 seats are
available. Bus will leave the BOSS building on Nash Blvd. at 9am and returning late the
same day.
19 January, 9am – 5K Fun Run/Walk - BOSS 9 am will be start at
Magrath Sports Complex. Open to active duty military assigned/attached to Fort Drum,
Family members, retirees, reservists, and DOD civilians employed on Fort Drum.
Register at race site starting at 8:30 am the day of the event until the beginning of the
race at 9 am. Dogs are welcome. Please remember to bring your NYS registration and
leash if you bring your four legged friend. Please check the Fort Drum BOSS Facebook
page for a weather call.
24 January, 6:30pm - Privateers Game – BOSS 6:30pm Let’s go see a
hockey game. On January 24, 2012 BOSS is going to Watertown, NY to watch the
Federal Hockey League team the Privateers. This trip will be open to all service
members, dependents and DOD Civilians. The cost is $15 per person. The cost covers
the ticket and transportation. Privateers are playing against Williamsport at 7:35pm.
There is limited space of 20 people for this trip. Call 315-772-7807 to reserve your seat
today.
2. 26 January, Noon – Full Moon Cross Country Ski Tour – Join Parks and Recreation
and BOSS as we travel to Cascade Cross Country Center. Each winter season
Cascade Cross Country Center celebrates the full moon with a party. The ski trails are
lit for evening skiing under the moon light. On the trail you will find Bon-fires, beverages,
hot dogs, and hot chocolate. The lodge provides a cozy fireplace, food, drink, and a live
band for a full evening of enjoyment. For additional information call Parks and

31 January, 7pm - Gaming Tournament – BOSS - Black Ops 2 at Nash Blvd.
BOSS Center. The BOSS facility has gaming systems, controllers, and big screen HD
TVs. All we need is you! Compete against the best gamers on Fort Drum while playing
the newest games. Winners receive prize money. Open to Active Duty Soldiers and
Spouses only.
