The Presentation involes the circuitary and the electronics involed in a dialysis system. It covers all the aspects of a dialysis system. The basic principle the dialysis macine and the various components of a dialysis machine.
2. The kidneys' job is to filter your blood
They remove wastes, control the body's
fluid balance, and keep the right levels
of electrolytes. All of the blood in your
body passes through them several times a
day
When the kidneys don't work
properly, dialysis is used to perform the
function of the kidneys.

3. Dialysis works on the principles of the diffusion of solutes
and ultrafiltration of fluid across a semi-permeable membrane.
Diffusion is a property of substances in water; substances in
water tend to move from an area of high concentration to an
area of low concentration.
Blood flows by one side of a semi-permeable membrane, and a
dialysate, or special dialysis fluid, flows by the opposite side.
Smaller solutes and fluid pass through the membrane, but the
membrane blocks the passage of larger substances (for
example, red blood cells, large proteins)

4. DIALYSIS MACHINE
Processor based pieces of
equipment incorporating
electromechanically controlled
extracorporeal blood paths that
leverage pumps and semi
permeable dialyzer membranes
to filter the patient’s blood
Single-fault tolerance
Active and Passive components
such as Control devices, sensors,
motors, heaters, pumps, and
valve drivers
5. Sensor Control Board
• Analog to Digital Converters
• Precision references
• Clocks and VCOs
• Instrumentation or operation amplifiers
Arterial And Venous Control Card
• Arterial and Venous Pressure Sensors
• Blood Pumps, Line Clamps, Level Sensors, blood detection
Sensors
• Various other monitoring and control features
Motor/Pump Drivers
• There are a number of motors, pumps, valves and heaters
in a Dialysis machine
7. Different parts of Dialysis machine:
Dialysis membrane:
Haemodialysis: Cellulose-membrane tube immersed in fluid
Peritoneal dialysis: The lining of patient’s abdominal cavity
Dialysate: It has same solute concentration as those in ordinary
plasma
Anticoagulants: Heparin is added as the blood enters dialysis
machine
Pumps: Peristaltic pumps are used for driving various higher
volume fluids in the machine
Valves: Allows variable mixing ratios
Sensors: To monitor parameters such as blood pressure, dialysate
pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation, motor speed
