With PARASIM®
Network Controllers, any number of PARASIM®
systems can be
interconnected for planning and rehearsal of group operations. Jumpers can observe
teammates in the shared simulation, follow their team leader, practice grouping, learn to
avoid collisions and land safely together at the target. Jumpers can also review the action
from any individual jumper’s viewpoint or from a range of group perspectives in an After‐
Action‐Review (AAR) session
PARASIM®
Network Controller
With its redesigned user interface and expanded display options, the new PARASIM®
Network Controller gives the instructor complete control and flexibility to set up, execute
and review a network jump for multiple students simultaneously. Status of all the jump
stations, including flight speeds, directions, parachute states and 3D views, are transmitted
to the Network Controller in real time, allowing the instructor to monitor simulation jumps
without ever leaving the Control Station. Additional Jump Stations can be added to the
network to accommodate larger training groups. Existing PARASIM®
v5 or v6 systems can be
retro‐ fitted with the Network Controller in order to accommodate group operations.
