•362 (37%) work for NGOs or other peace-related
organizations
•141 (14%) work for a government agency or the
military
•88 (9%) are teachers/professors
•71 (7%) work in research or academic support
positions
•61 (6%) work for United Nations agencies
•60 (6%) are pursuing additional advanced degrees
in peace-related fields

•30 (3%) work for police or are involved in law
enforcement
•28 (3%) are lawyers
•23 (2%) are journalists
•9 (1%) work for the World Bank
•67 (7%) defy easy categorization
•45 (5%) reported they are actively looking for
work in the field
