Personal Statement
I am a well-qualified professional with great deal of experience in managing large and complex business
arrangements and business partner relationships both internal and external. I am an expert user of Excel and
have built many complex financial models using the attributes of Excel’s macros, pivot tables and embedded
complex formula and functions. I adopt a careful and well thought out approach to complex situations and
have delivered many solutions that save time and effort. It is because of these qualities that I was recognised
by the British Finance Awards as Accountant of the Year 2015.
Having worked in accounting and finance for many years I have used my vast experience to help develop
systems controls and commercial understanding in business. The production of budgets, monthly
management, statutory and consolidated accounts have all been key features in my work along with
supporting non financial managers understanding of their areas.
I am a methodical and conscientious person with strong systems, analytical, compliance and project
experience that have enabled me to deliver stronger systems and controls in a business partnering
environment. As a manager I can command respect and dedication of staff and have built successful teams
