I am, by trade training, a topographic surveyor and, by tertiary education, a cartographer with over fifty years experience. I have had a unique career which encompasses major technological changes - taking us from World War 2 technology for surveying and mapping to satellite positioning and digital geographic information systems. I have been fortunate to having been involved in a number of projects and activities that have influenced my vision for the future.
