Founded in 2001 when a transformer OEM declined to invest in the condition based monitoring strategy.
Application engineers are involved in quoting solutions developed in collaboration with the end user (the utility). That collaboration usually results in a Customer Requirements Document that is often included in the specification for various sized assets – we know when we get an RFQ from OEMs for a 340kv transformer for utility XYZ, as an example, exactly what is required by the customer. We can create custom part numbers that match a specific bill of materials and configured to the standard or call for a packaged solution. When an order is received, it is check for accuracy before being acknowledged. A few weeks before production is to begin, drawings are issued and an approval process followed. In most cases, a fully assembled panel is shipped for inclusion in the OEM’s control cabinet and on-site commissioning is included. Training can be done at no charge in our Sussex WI facility or at the customer site for a nominal fee.
