20+ years creative experience, this includes award winning typography, art direction, writing and creative

Learned the art of advertising in Raleigh, North Carolina. Worked with several Hall of Famers from
McKinney & Silver. Went on to create award-winning ads for Sawyer Riley Compton, Barefoot, Northlich,
WonderGroup and now Curiosity. I love my job, always have. I don’t consider it work.

Current Position
Group Creative Director - Curiosity Advertising (6 years)
Responsible for theagency’s largest clients as well as delivering winning pitches for new business. I work
with all departments to make sure the agency is producing smart, strategic and amazing creative. Managing
executive-level client relationships is also a daily requirement. Curiosity is a 360 agency, meaning we
produce work in all media channels - digital, print, TV, radio, guerilla - so I completely understand and love
all the possibleways to interact with consumers.
So I mentioned Coach up there, I really love finding and developing talent. I’d say I’m very good at
evaluating rising stars and then nurturing them to become happy and successful people. I generally do this
with creatives, but over theyears mentoring has spanned the account and creative departments. Oh, and I’ve
coached youth soccer forever so I’ve passed concussion training and (bonus) thepolice feel I’m safe to be
around children.
