Remember- First Impression is the Best Impression. The first
face-to-face impression of you is when you arrive and greet
your interviewer.
1. First Impressions Count
Make a list of common interview questions for the
given position and frame thoughtful answers. For
example :
 Tell me about yourself.
 Why are looking for a job change?
 Why do you want this job?
2. Prepare a list of expected interview questions
Be mindful of your body language while
interacting with the receptionist or HR
executive. Pay attention to how you smile
and greet them.

4. Understand behavioural interviewing
An interviewing style that aims to establishing your core
competencies relevant to the role, such as teamwork, creativity
and innovation, decision making ability, business awareness or
conflict resolution.
In preparation for an interview, candidates
should consider how best to answer this
question so that the information is useful to
employers while not damaging your chances of
being hired.
5.KNOW YOUR GREATEST STRENGTHS AND WEAKNNESSES
POST INTERVIEW
 Asking questions at the end of an interview shows your enthusiasm,
job interest and whether you paid attention. Prepare ahead of
time and tailor your questions to the job.
 If your interview went well and if it feels right, then write a thank
you email. Patience is the key in this phase, and one must evaluate,
finding rooms for improvement from his/her interview.
 Dealing with rejection – accept rejection with dignity. Interviews
are never A waste of time and if possible, write A thank you email
and then ask for feedback.
