MWH/Biwater Treatment Ltd – Senior Site Manager
• Frankley WTW – Severn Trent - £14.0 million
Installation of new lime plant including stripping out of existing M&E plant & existing
equipment in an existing building, installation of new electrical panels, pumps, chemical
dosing & flushing lines within the building. Construction of two new in-situ pumping station,
glass coated steel tanks, lime silos complete with walkways, M&E plant& equipment
associated with lime transfer.
• Kilburn STW – Severn Trent - £6.5 million
Preliminary work & investigations in preparation for Planning Application, preparation of
programmes, schedules, quotations & cost reviews & supervision of construction,
mechanical and electrical installation & commissioning..
The rebuilding of sewage works is in a very sensitive local area adjacent to local residents
unreceptive to the project. The build includes construction of deep Inlet Pumping Station,
Inlet Works, Activated Sludge Plant, 1 no Final Settlement Tank & conversion of 2 no
existing humus tanks to FST, access roads etc.
All work is phased in with the demolition of the existing works whilst maintaining the integrity
of the treatment process.
• Clipstone GAC WTW - £2.7 million
As part of a scheme to remove pesticide levels from the borehole water which feed the site;
Construction & installation of 6 No. GAC absorbers and associated pipework and slab,
access road and site gate to enable GAC tankers to discharge media into vessels a 600m3
buried dirty backwash / conditioning wastewater tank and discharge pumps.

Construction & installation of RBC unit, associated pipework & MCC. Replacement of
