3. Smoking:
 Smoking is a practice in which a substance is burned and the
resulting smoke breathed in to be tasted and absorbed into the
bloodstream.
 Smoking refers to the inhalation and exhalation of fumes from burning
tobacco in cigars, cigarettes and pipes

Present scenario can be considered as 2 types of

Bangladesh: Smokers are increasing day by day. They smoke
different brands of cigarette. Such as

•Star
•Swiss
•Gold Leaf etc

In Bangladesh almost 80% people are smoker and
among this people 48% are young generation 17% female
and 35 % are male

8. International Scenario
International scenario of smoking is very high. Day by day
people are addicted by smoking. As a result they are going to kill
themselves.
• In 20th century 100 million people died for smoking
• 5 million people died in last 5 years
• Smoking only responsible 480,000 people death in UN every
year.

9. Statistics
•Adult: Most of the smokers are 15-25 ages. This stage of age is
under adult.
•Quitting Smoking: Two third of smoker would like to stop
smoking.
•Addiction: 60% smokers are highly addicted and can not think
with out smoking.

People only die for smoking related diseases.

11. Types of Tobacco:
Biddies: They consist of tobacco wrapped in a paper and
may be secured with a colorful string at one or
both ends.
Cigarettes: A cigarette is a combination of cured and finely
cut tobacco, reconstituted tobacco and other
additives rolled or stuffed into a paper-wrapped
cylinder.
Dissolvable Tobacco: This type of tobacco is finely
processed to dissolve on the tongue or in the
mouth.

12. E- cigarette: The e-cigarette is a battery-powered device that
contains a cartridge filled with nicotine, flavor
and other chemicals.
Hookah: Hookah is a pipe used to smoke Shisha, a
combination of tobacco and fruitor vegetable
that is heated and the smoke is filtrated
through water.
Pipe: Pipes are often reusable and consist of a chamber or
bowl, stem and mouthpiece. Tobacco is placed into the
bowl and lit.

Some symptoms of smoking are noticeable to the smoker. They are

19. Nicotine Replacement Treatments:
Nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs), such as nicotine gum and
the transversal nicotine patch, were the first pharmacological
treatments approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
for use in smoking cessation therapy.
Additional Medications:
Although the primary focus of pharmacological treatments
for tobacco addiction has been nicotine replacement, other
treatments are also available.

These all are waste our money and health, nothing else.

make our world healthier and green that is our dream.
