Selfies have become a common obsession, with people constantly taking photos of themselves and sharing them on social media. However, an over-obsession with taking selfies can be problematic. It can cause people to focus only on their own appearance and how they look in photos, rather than appreciating their surroundings. Extreme selfie-taking can also be a sign of declining self-confidence and mental health issues. While selfies are not inherently bad, people should try to limit the number they take each day and avoid an unhealthy addiction to documenting every moment of their lives through self-portraits. Moderation is important to maintain perspective and a balanced lifestyle.

Selfie obsession
1. Selfies : A real obsession
U all no wat’s a selfie? For those who aren’t aware here it goes…It’s a
just a self portrait of yourself taken using the gadgets available by you
itself…
Nowadaysselfies have become a common“obsession” amongall and its
like kindof part of our life..
“Click and say “Cheese” that’s it job done. But it keeps on going... until
one gets a perfect shot of their self portrait.. they never get to know what
is happeningaround them???..Here the problem arises..!!! Actually what
is happeningis that he/she is self centered and forgets to admire what is
around them.. They are always concerned about their looks and even
revert to things like doing plastic surgery to improve their looks and so on.
2. I know this is getting lame...I am not tellingthat the concept of taking
selfies is completely wrong but we need a control over it. As it is killing
the real “you”and just showing your false reflection. As far as I have seen
the people around me... they even don’t have a particular place to take
selfies.. some click when they are about to sleep or tired after a day’s
work(fatigue) and some while travelling and so on...then some become
crazy to click selfies with their favourite celebs...if they ever get a chance
to meet them!!! but the worst part is that some mothers are even clicking
selfies with their new born babies...actually even adults have become fans
of selfies!!! But one of the demerits of this could be that there are
chances of reducing one’s self confidence thinkingwhether it looks good
or not and feeling inferior to one another and then over addictioncan
even lead to mental illness and disorders....as many researches show.
There r some who photobombeverything they have and share those
snaps in various social networking sites…thinkingthey r posing like
“Swag” #cool#yolo.. These are some of the frequently used hashtags for
their so called “cool” pics. So friends have a balance in whatever you do...
keep a count of everything includingthe number of selfies u take in a day
!! don’t carry on up to 200 shots as some do.. Frankly speaking,I can tell u
that it’s a mere waste of time and can lead u nowhere. This is not to
discourage u guyswho r already very obsessed…but there should be a
control...
