The world deserves libraries as the well-spring of all knowledge and the satiation of all curiosity. The organization of historical writings and ephemera is an important activity of any civilization and librarians and archivists and curators and the one's who do this useful work. Librarians catalog and record, read and review, and generally enjoy the presence of books. The modern library now houses information in a variety of formats and the librarian is still there to help navigate the morass of free information.
