Key Results

Key Lessons
• Community driven responses involving policy makers yield far
reaching results. Distribution of referral tools that could be tracked up
to the health center point strengthened the programme M&E.

• CBVs remain critical in community mobilisation, and demand creation
for increased uptake of MNCH services

• Involving Traditional leaders remain key entry point to addressing
cultural practices that negatively affect uptake of services

• The Cascade Model is an effective model for capacity development

• Using Multiple strategies which are mutually re-enforcing is critical
