SCOPE:
Conceptual design of the structure/infrastructure should meet the requirements of the Health
Ministry.
Pre-design planning specific but not limited to:
1. Functional requirements of the building(workflow,utilities and services)
2. Safety and security
3. Space allocation and aesthetics
4. Equipment needs and scheduling

EFFORT
1. The investment in the planning effort is critical to the successful design and ultimately
the building of a facility best suited to the efficient operational requirements of the MOH.
2. Policies articulated so that the facility design can reinforce the new MOH policies
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
1. Preparation of a model or plans, sections and perspective drawings of what is
needed;
2. Discussions with Administrative staff of the type of structure best suited to
effectively meet the needs of the MOH.
DESIGN:
1. Building free-standing
a. Number of Square feet(suggest..Total 4,000 m2/44000 ft2)
b. Number of floors and floor space(7floors)
c. Number of Offices for
i. Directors and
ii. Other Personnel
2. Having ready access to roads for emergency cases

material(s)
7. Type of engineering system.Design calculations for major structural elements of the
