Re-designed a 50% more efficient master plan for the Ministerial Zone to change it from a mono-use district to
a mixed-use area based on banks and offices with a better built environment. The Ministerial zone and Financial
District is a (315 ha) area and currently under construction.
Created vision and a feasible, revenue generating strategy master plan New Administrative Capital Park (420
ha) - A monumental park with an aim to serve the totality of 6.5 population between Cairo and Suez.

Devised detailed master plan of the CBD (85 ha) - Currently under construction.
Negotiated with the client to review an older design scheme done in-house and presented a master plan of 22
towers with higher quality built environment and more diverse mix of uses.
New Administrative Capital – Master Plan Validation and Review

Reviewed and authorised the Strategic Master Plan, covering whole area of 71,400 ha, general master plan with
phase 1 of 16,800 ha, and detailed master plan with phase 1 priority area of 4,410 ha.
Utilised multi- disciplinary approach to effectively develop an objective as well as analysis of the master plan.
Conducted assessment based upon five categories including, planning and urban design, environment and
ecology, infrastructure and utilities, transport and movement, and commercialisation and economic validity.
Implemented best practices by researching and selecting smart and sustainable city principles.
Successfully negotiated technical bid and fee proposal and created additional project scope to cover the

Covered different strategies within the master plan, including zoning and land-use development strategy,
landscape strategies, sustainability and Smart City strategies, high-level public transportation and road

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Preliminary Study (South-West Corridor)

Evaluated the feasibility of planning a sustainable environmentally sensitive, world class transit facility to serve
two major corridors in Doha, namely Salwa Road and Al Waab Street.
Developed a multi-modal mass transit network to optimise Doha’s vision of developing into a truly world- class
city.
Facilitated residents of Doha with an attractive alternative to the automobile by initiating The Doha Bus Rapid
Transit project, a train-like system.
Prepared all necessary documents related to planning principles, land use data, population data, social &
cultural heritage impacts of the proposed BRT line.
