OBJECTIVE
To acquire a position where I can contribute to the growth of the company and at the same
develop a long term career inside of the organization.
BACKGROUND
The first part of my career focused on the introduction of new models (NMI) at the
board assembly level. I then progressed to developing new information systems to reduce
the time required to process and verify data before start assembly boards. I was then
moved to Design dept in charge of designing and procuring of PCBs (Printed Circuit Board).
Recently, I have been coordinating the introduction of new finished goods models.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
FOXCONN
New Model Introduction Coordinator 2013-Present
Coordinate the introduction of new models from schedule negotiation with the customer
to leading its initial production
Windchill System Administrator 2010-2013
Responsible of the operation of the electrical and mechanical software design systems
including CR5000, Allegro, Pro/e and its Product Life Management tool Windchill.
SONY 01/1992 - 2009
Board Design Coordinator 2002 – Present
Responsible for the design of PWB boards of new models complying with electrical
performance, mechanical specs, and budget restrictions.
• Reduced the cost of PWB by 30% proposing alternative laminates
• Responsible to introduce local vendors for mass production supplier to shrink the
introduction schedule on new boards
• Increased the efficiency of manufacturing of the boards by adapting new boards
to local plant manufacturing capabilities
2. Engineering Trials Coordinator 1994 – 2002
Responsible for manufacturing the prototypes of the new models using regular
Production resources. Served as a liaison between Design and Production in order to
deliver the finish goods on time, meeting new models introduction schedule without major
impact on Production plan.
• Reduced drastically defects on Auto mount machines by automatically comparing
the info of the mounting machines with the official BOM by developing an
interface to link production system with Auto mount programming machines
• Reduced 2 days of the production time of engineering samples by developing a
software tool (Mount Simulator) to analyze potential discrepancies between
parts and board presentation before getting physical samples.
• Reduced 1 day of the BOM transferring process from the design system to the
production system by replacing the manual audit process of the info by a
computer based that automatically reported discrepancies
• Developed and programmed a computer based MRP system to handle all the
information of the new models
• Customize Oracle production system to create a BOM using info from design
mainframe
• Reduced drastically the setup time of SMD machines when several models
required the same board by creating a generic NC program with conditionals to
handle each variation instead of exclusive program per model as regular mass
production
Auto Mount Programming group 1992 – 1994
Worked for Engineering dept. Responsible for improving the efficiency of the
operation of Auto mount area. Participated in the implementation of a complete new
computer based system to manage the production data in this critical area to assure the
production was free of mistakes. This system automatically created and transmitted the
NC programs eliminating human intervention.
• Responsible for the operation of the system (TIMMS), which created and handled
all the NC programs of auto mount machines.
• Implemented a serial network to link auto mount machines with TIMMS
• Developed a program to extract the BOM data of each model from plant’s operation
system, and link it to TIMMS in order to verify the data transmitted to the
machines matched with the latest BOM
• Created a system to calculate the annual capacity of Auto Mount machines
• Developed a program to communicate with Mount Machines by Serial port
