Responsibilities
Prime:
 Formulating quality objective and mission for Supply Chain Team
 Pro-active with Contract /planning/user dept to get BOQ/Forecasting/scheduling to align
supply chain function to maximize the cost effectiveness.
 Develop & implement strategies to select, develop & strengthen supplier base to achieve

 Prioritize & manage timely execution of all supply chain related activities
 Helping buyer team for issuance RFQs/RFPs / Evaluation of offer/Placement of
orders/delivery of goods & services to the end user
 Negotiating cost effective prices & terms and developing long term relationship & partnership
with top quality suppliers
 Reviewing of performance of vendors and filtering top quality vendors to enhance the service
level needs
 To establish long / short term contracts ( based on need & market trend ) for the
consumables / regular items / logistic operations,.
 Monitoring the pricing trends of A Category of items /services and providing inputs to Project
& planning team to initiate the requirement accordingly
 Carry out techno-commercial evaluation by comparing BATNA / WATNA
 Initiating technical approval for alternate updated / cost effective product by sharing inputs
with end user / planning dept
 Negotiating BGs / PBG’s for critical project items
 Helping buyer team for frequent vendor assessment technique to measure performance and
quality of goods/ services
 Troubleshooting / resolving Purchasing, Technical, Expediting & Logistic problems with
vendors.
