2. BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
 The Project is being constructed on river Parbati in Distt. Kullu
of Himachal Pradesh.
 The Project is spread across 120 Km in 03 different valleys i.e.
Manikaran (Dam Complex), Garsa (TBM and Store) & Sainj
(Power House)
 As per DPR sanctioned manpower for Project -1200 employees
 Sanctioned strength of Project vide Corporate Office sanction
order no. PIE/16/2011 dated 31.03.2011 is 344. The breakup of
sanctioned manpower is as below:
Executive -150; Supervisor – 51; Workmen – 143

4. BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
 Due to excessive distance between the project
components, same manpower can not be utilised at
different locations and separate establishment has to be
maintained at all the locations.
 Sufficient manpower in Security, technical and non-
technical trades in workmen cadre is not available in the
Project to meet the requirement of all the locations.

Review Status:

reviewed after deployment of CISF/IRBN or commissioning of the project
whichever is earlier.
