This document contains sales analysis data for the passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle industries in India for the years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. For passenger vehicles, Maruti maintained the largest market share at 46% in 2010-2011, while Hyundai and Tata also held major shares. Nissan saw the largest sales increase at 2742%. In commercial vehicles, Tata had the largest market share both years at over 50%, while Force and Mahindra also ranked highly in sales volumes and market shares. Overall, total sales volumes grew for both passenger and commercial vehicles between the two years.
