ornamental plant. The species is popular
with modern gardeners as a medicinal
plant and for its interesting flowers, form,
and succulence [ juicy , moist , pulpy ] . This
succulence enables the species to survive
in areas of low natural rainfall, making it

Oral ingestion of Aloe vera may also
cause diarrhea, kidney dysfunction, dry mouth, headache,
and nausea .
