8. KEGIATAN INTI/AKTIVITAS
Kegiatan 1 (to practise the vocabulary about in the museum)
Students look at the picture in their Student’s Books.
Play the recording. Words: Queen, knight, crown, helmet, necklace, bracelet, belt,
shield, bow and arrow, and sword
Students point to the objects and the words when they hear them.
Play the recording. Students repeat the words.
Students practise pointing and naming in pairs
Kegiatan 2 (look read and number the sentences )
Students look through the page number 11
Students start match up the sentences with the picture given
Kegiatan 3 (Grammar focus )
Students read short sentences “I must wear a helmet”.
The teacher explains the concept of “modal form” such as must, can, could, would,
may, might and etc.
Teachers ask students to compose simple sentence in accordance to that pattern
Kegiatan 4 (Complete the sentences. Listen and check )

Students start to fill the missing word in the sentences with the correct words by
considering the word and picture given the previous section.

3. Kegiatan 6 (Conversation about the knight )
Students divided into several groups, and each group consists of Ben, Lucy, Zelda
and Horax
Students are asked to read the conversation in accordance to the character given for
each.

Kegiatan 7 (Reading the short passage titled “The secret of the Egyptian cat )
Students are asked to read the paragraph by considering the linguistics aspects such
pronunciation, intonation, and expression as well
Students are going to be asked the purpose of the text
Students are asked to answer the question given in section, page number 17
Kegiatan 8 (Reading the article titled “Discover museum” )
Students are asked to read both article with the title “The National Museums of
Anthropology in Mexico City and The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
Students are asked to compare both articles
Students are demanded to find out the crucial information given session
Students are asked to complete the task given in the page number 19
