CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
- Provided a safe learning environment
through the implementation of classroom
policies and procedures
MOV: The teacher provided a set of rules
for the students to observe in the whole
duration of the lesson.
B. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the
new lesson
 Reviewing of Concepts
 Reading of the Lesson Objectives
 Unlocking of Difficult words
The teacher will ask orally the students about the previous
lesson on the operations of integers through a game. The
class will be divided into 3 groups. Each group will have 1
representative. The first to shout “Darna” will be the one to
answer by raising the tag board provided in each group..
Each correct answer will be given 2 points. Group who
earned more points will be declared as winner.
STRATEGIES
- Applied questioning skills that develop
learner’s critical and creative thinking (HOTS)
MOV: The teacher developed learners’
critical and creative thinking by asking the
students why they answered, a thumbs up
or a thumbs down.
C. Establishing a purpose for the
lesson/Motivation/Motive Questions
MOTIVATION:
Class this time with the same groupings. Each
group will have 3 wizards. The name of the game is
"Decode Me".I will show different symbols
with corresponding letters to form a word. The first group
to write on the board the correct answer will gain points.
The group who can gain more points will be declared as
winner.
Am I understood class?
Are you ready?
Let's begin.

critical and creative thinking by asking the
students why they answered, a thumbs up
or a thumbs down.
Literacy Integration ( Forming words out
of the given code) Reading the word
formed.
D. Presenting examples/instances of the new
lesson
ACTIVITY (10 minutes):
 The students will be grouped into 3.
TASK:
 Each group will do the following activities

group.
E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new
skills #1
ANALYSIS (5 minutes):
 Discussion on guide questions will be done.
 Analysis as to the process of coming up with
the answer will be done.
STRATEGIES
- Applied questioning skills that develop
learner’s critical and creative thinking (HOTS)
MOV: The teacher developed learners’
critical and creative thinking by asking the
students why they came up with the
specific answers.
F. Discussing new concepts and practicing new
skills #2
ABSTRACTION: (10 minutes):
 The teacher will facilitate the discussion of the
key concepts of the topic through a video
lesson
 Questions will be asked for the students to
answer
Video Clip:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9I3fk4kytu4
Guide Questions:
 What are your understanding about the topic?
CONTENT
- Showed mastery of the lesson content
- Used content that enhances learners’
literacy or numeracy skills.
MOV: The teacher used her facilitation
skills in facilitating the concepts while the
activity on solving for population density in
the topic enhances the numeracy skills of
the students.
STRATEGIES
- Integrated ICT in the teaching and learning
activities
MOV: The teacher used a video lesson to re
enforce students’ learning about biodiversity.
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
- Used positive and non-violent discipline to
manage learner behavior
MOV: The teacher used positive and non-
violent discipline to manage learners’
behavior specially during the discussion of
the concepts of the lesson.
G. Developing mastery (leads to Formative
Assessment 3)
Sum It Up:
With the same grouping, the students will wrap up the
concepts of the day's lesson.
H. Finding practical applications of concepts and
skills in daily living
APPLICATION (10 minutes):
 With the same grouping, the students will
perform a song, poem, and role playing
showing the importance of the properties on
the operation of integers

B. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson  Reviewing of Concepts  Reading of the Lesson Objectives  Unlocking of Difficult words The teacher will ask orally the students about the previous lesson on the operations of integers through a game. The class will be divided into 3 groups. Each group will have 1 representative. The first to shout “Darna” will be the one to answer by raising the tag board provided in each group.. Each correct answer will be given 2 points. Group who earned more points will be declared as winner. STRATEGIES - Applied questioning skills that develop learner’s critical and creative thinking (HOTS) MOV: The teacher developed learners’ critical and creative thinking by asking the students why they answered, a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
