Question 2
X is an epic war drama movie of the late 1990s, which is hailed by most veterans, some of
whom couldn’t watch it completely due to PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), for the
veracity in the graphic portrayals of the war scenes. X tells the tale of soldiers who go
behind the enemy lines, to do something for the character Y, on whose name, X is
partly named.
As is often the case with war movies, an intensive 10-day boot camp was implemented
by the production for the cast. But the actor who played Y did not join the bootcamp,
although he did get trained, but separately. The director of X ensured this
intentionally.
Id this reason and X.
Answer
ANS: X- Saving Private Ryan
( Set during the Invasion of Normandy in World War II)
Reason: While Matt Damon, who played Private Ryan, did train prior to the film, he
did not train alongside his castmates. This was an intentional decision by
Spielberg as he did not want Damon to bond with the cast and wanted to
create a potential feeling of resentment in the actors playing Captain Miller’s
squad. This was to reflect the way the squad felt toward Private Ryan in the film, as
they had to risk their lives and save Private Ryan at any cost, as ordered to them,
since all his brothers died in World War 2.
Question 3
When Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell published their book of poetry in mid 19th century,
they initially sold just three copies. Later, the 'Bell Brothers' published individual
novels and their works met great success.

abuse and violence - led to a storm of Victorian outrage which shook England.
Commentators were quick to accuse the 'Bell Brothers' of something.
The 'Bell Brothers' were not surprised though. Before publishing their first work,
they had a vague impression that they are liable to be looked on with prejudice. In
anticipation of such response, they had taken a certain decision in the first place.
What were they accused of (which turned out to be true)? Who were the 'Bell
Brothers'?
Answer

for deviating from the usual sentimental storylines. “The short story has the
sense of something about to happen, and it never does” which X really liked and
wanted to add to his work.
He creates this tension in Y to depict the feeling of isolation that the people of his

Question 1
In a certain mid-1800s coming-of-age novel, X has two nicknames, <<a shorter
version of X>> and "Daisy", both of which were common nicknames for X in the
nineteenth century. This can be confusing for a few reasons, especially when X has
a daughter of her own, names her X, and calls her "Daisy." We also learn that X's
mother is named X, too – maybe that's why she goes by "Marmee," which sounds
halfway between "Mommy" and X. So there are actually three Xs, grandmother,
mother, and daughter, but they're usually referred to as by different names.

talks about Charlene’s control over the 1st word.
ID the X as it justifies the title of the novel.

Many people blame X for the shortening of a common word _____ to __(3) which
is not the case. The first instance of usage of word was seen in "_ law" which was a
nickname for a stop and search law enacted in 1824, that gained its moniker in the
early-to-mid 1900s. It gave British law enforcement the power to search and
potentially arrest people who they believed were up to no good.
However, the shortening of the word first took place in England and Wales as far
back as the 1930s as police jargon. Instead of using it as a descriptor, like “that
person is __,” British cops would use the abbreviation to refer to the discovery of
crucial evidence or information. The expression is still used colloquially today and is
most commonly used to describe the action of discovering a secret.

Question 7
After diagnosing the psychological disorders in a character X, a psychologist(Y)
found out the presence of two major disorders. According to Y, X suffered from
OCD DSM-5 300.3 and Narcissistic personality disorder( DSM-5 301.81).
Take a look at the symptoms of these disorders and ID X
Question 8
A closer look at X shows that the main characters in the painting are women - one
screaming with a dead child in her arms, one trying to escape, one with her arms
in the air and one holding an oil lamp, signifying hope. Women represent life and
pain, and this could be why Y (the painter) used women figures to convey the
agony in X.
At one point during the painting’s development, Y had considered adding colour
to it. He had added a red teardrop falling from a crying woman’s eye to test the
effect. But these changes did not stay, and X came to be one of the most
recognisable monochromatic artworks in the history of art.

Answers
ID X and the novel.
(The novel goes in to the syzygy)
Answer
X - Margaret
Little Women
Question 2
Pink Globalization is a book published by Christine Reiko Yano, where she
examined the creation and rise of an entity (X) who gained immense global
attention as Y had released various goods in collaborations with popular brands.
She named the book as such because of the impact X had had on the global
market and the demographic it was mainly focused on. Some of the main reasons
why X became popular was because of the emerging Cute-Cool culture at the
time of X’s release and the various kinds of affordable merchandise it had.
ID the entity (X).
Answer
Hello Kitty
Question 3
Firestarter is a science fiction-horror thriller novel by Stephen King, published in
the 1980s. The plot of this novel revolves around the Department of Scientific
Intelligence (aka "The Shop") trying to capture Charlene McGee who is the
daughter of the participants in a research program the Shop carried out. During
the research program, her parents were given a low grade hallucinogen that led to
the development of some abilities in both their children (Andy and Charlene).
To describe the ability of Charlene, the author coined a term X which is a
portmanteau of 2 words where the first word is a Greek term for something
Charlene has an affinity towards and the second word is also a Greek term that
talks about Charlene’s control over the 1st word.
ID the X as it justifies the title of the novel.
Answer
Pyrokinesis
Question 4

  • 111. Question 6 Many people blame X for the shortening of a common word _____ to __(3) which is not the case. The first instance of usage of word was seen in "_ law" which was a nickname for a stop and search law enacted in 1824, that gained its moniker in the early-to-mid 1900s. It gave British law enforcement the power to search and potentially arrest people who they believed were up to no good. However, the shortening of the word first took place in England and Wales as far back as the 1930s as police jargon.
