Kobe Bryant was born in 1978 in Philadelphia and played his entire 20-year NBA career as a shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. He enjoyed success in high school basketball before entering the NBA directly after graduation. Bryant led the Lakers to NBA championships in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2009, winning the Finals MVP in 2009. He retired in 2016 after scoring 60 points in his final game.
