PENGERTIAN PROPERTIES OF
MATERIALS
a materials property is an intensive property of a material, i.e., a physical property
that does not depend on the amount of the material. These quantitative properties
may be used as a metric by which the benefits of one material versus another can be
compared, thereby aiding in materials selection.
Properti material adalah properti intensif dari suatu material, yaitu properti fisik
yang tidak bergantung pada jumlah material. Sifat kuantitatif ini dapat digunakan
sebagai metrik di mana manfaat dari satu bahan versus yang lain dapat
dibandingkan, sehingga membantu dalam pemilihan bahan.
PEMBAGIAN PROPERTIES OF
MATERIALS
A. Shape/Figure
Contohnya : garis,titik dan kurfa
B. Dimension
1. Dua Dimensi ( Two Dimension)
Example: - Square ( Segi Empat )
- Triangle ( Segitiga )
- Kite ( Layang-Layang )
- Rectangle (Persegi panjang)
CONTOH KALIMAT SHAPE TWO
DIMENSION
1.The circle is red. It is a red
circle. (Lingkarannya berwarna merah, itu
lingkaran merah)
2.The square is blue. It is a blue square. (Segi
empatnya berwarna biru, itu segi empat biru)
3.The triangle is yellow. It is a yellow
triangle. (Segitiganya berwarna kuning, itu
segitiga kuning)
4.The rectangle is green. It is a green
rectangle. (Segitiganya berwarna hijau, itu
segitiga hijau)
5.The parallelogram is orange. It is an orange
parallelogram. (Jajar genjangnya berwarna
orange, itu adalah jajar genjang orange)
2. Tiga Dimensi ( Theree Dimension )
Example : - Cube ( Kubus )
- Cuboid ( Balok )
- Pyramid ( Limas )
- Prims ( Prisma )
- Cylinder ( Tabung )
Contoh kalimat menggunakan shape 3
dimensi :
1. The earth is like a giant ball
2. Globe is also called globe
3. This box is cube-shaped!
4. Objects that have length, width and height
are blocks.
KESIMPULAN
Properti material adalah properti intensif dari suatu
material, yaitu properti fisik yang tidak bergantung
pada jumlah material. Sifat kuantitatif ini dapat
digunakan sebagai metrik di mana manfaat dari satu
bahan versus yang lain dapat dibandingkan,
sehingga membantu dalam pemilihan
bahan.sederhanya suatu benda akan memiliki
karakteristik/sifat seperti bentuk,nah di dalam
bentuk ini akan terbagi menjadi 3 dimensi yaitu:
1. 1D berupa garis saja
2. 2D berupa gabungan dari beberapa garis yang
nantinya membentuk bnagun datar sebagai
contohnya.
3. 3D gabungan dari beberapa garis yang memiliki
panjang,lenar dan tinggi sehingga akan mmeiliki
volume.
