Bangladesh. Fakir Fashion Ltd
has made a remarkable progress
since its conception, it never
stopped growing. 'Fakir Fashion
Limited', a fully export oriented
Vertical knit-garments facilities,
has been launched in the year
2009 under the canopy of Fakir
Group. Later maintain as
individual management in each
company of Fakir Group. Late M.
Yusuf Ali Fakir, a modest pioneer
of the family, started his
business career in the mid of
20th century as a textile
manufacturer. Within a short
while he established himself as a promising businessman but he

did not limit himself just in textile rather he exerted his
expertise into Jute trading and dyes & chemical trading. The
journey started with Late Mr. Yusuf Ali but it got into full
throttle in 1970 when his five sons were inducted into the
family business. During this journey they did Yarn Trading, Dyes
Chemical Trading, Knit Fabrics manufacturing for Local Market.
And then the business expanded in 1988 the family put a new
landmark as it started exporting garments to the international
market. After that the family had never looked back rather
strive ahead for better and better. The name Fakir Fashion Ltd
is well respected and well reputed among the garment
exporters, and it has also glorified its name in the society by
doing the needful for a sustainable future.
Fakir Fashion Ltd started exporting garments with 7 swing lines
in 2009 and export was $7million.Fakir Fashion Ltd is operated
fully in compliance with local and international laws and buyers
requirements. Fakir Fashion Limited is one of the esteemed
Company in Bangladesh. Fakir Fashion made its mark as a
sustainable knit garments manufacturer and a flourishing
exporter with yearly turnover of US $130million in 2020.

Knitted fabrics from exceptional large GSM to very low end
GSM value depending on the client's needs. A key emphasis
revolves around the Knitting department at Fakir Fashions.
From accumulation of yarn to processing them into fabrics;
each step is dealt with outmost care. We collect the finest yarn
and stock in bulk. Our vast array of modernized European
machineries produces a wide range of knit fabrics in both open
and tubular forms. For making our fabrics we use - Cotton,
Polyester, Viscose, Organic cotton and various mixed
composition like poly cotton, Poly viscose and many more.

optimum use of fabric.

unit is assembled with machines from renowned industry
standard brands especially for fashionable garments production
and is run by a skilled workforce.
Finished products represent our level of excellence. Ironing to
Packaging; every step of the process is carried out with outmost
level of dedication. From inspection to quality control and
finally packing, all are assembled as per buyer's requirement.

ABOUT SEWING AND FINISHING:

In the world of fashion, different wash effect and processes
have proven to add diverse values to products. Fakir Fashions
has a washing unit which can accommodate 51 different
category of washing, which is the highest for any single knitting
garment company in Bangladesh.
Acid Wash, Cold Dyeing, Dip Dyeing, Conventional Reactive,
Pigment dyeing and Tie dyeing, and sophisticated effect like- PP
Spray & Crinkle Washed effect.
FFL Washing Plant maintains the usage of Chemicals and
Colorants that are RSL free.

PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION [PSI]
All pre-shipment
inspections must adhere
to internationally
recognized ANSI/ASQC
Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1)
statistical sampling
procedure.
- Check the styling details and method of makeup is
exactly the same as the sealing sample, unless otherwise
specified on the approved report.
- Check the fabric is of the correct quality and weight, and
also check any defect available or not and fabric
strength, color, quantity.
- Check the trims and accessories like, colors, threads,
button, zips, etc. is correct.
- Check the Prints and embroideries are located correctly.
- Check the seams are secure, especially at joins/junctions
and the ends of cuffs and hem welts.
- Ensure the Collars & Cuffs matching is correct.
- Check the Absence of stitching, stitching defects, Needle
holes & marks, unbalanced sleeve edge, unbalanced
placket, Open seam, Puckering, etc.
- Check the Button and buttonhole stitching is neat and
secure, and that buttonholes are correctly aligned to the
button.
- Check the garment length, shoulder length, body width,
placket width & length, arm hole & opening, rib or color
width, etc.
- Check the garments are free from loose threads and that
threads are cleaned from inside and outside of each
garment.
- Check the garments have been correctly pressed, that
they are not over pressed and glazed or under pressed
and creased.
- Checks the garments are hung/folded and packed exactly
as detailed and check all labels/stickers on bags are
correct.
