Introduction of Big Data
• In the Modern Digital Life, huge amounts of data have become
available on hand to analyzer.
• Big data means not Big or large.
• It means data which is large in Volume, High in Velocity and
different Varieties. Such value can be provided using big data.
• See in your mind's eyes a world lacking of data storage.
What is Big Data
• very large data sets that may be analyzed computationally to
expose patterns, trends, and links, particularly relating to
human behavior and interactions. "Much IT investment is
going towards managing and maintaining big data”.
• The wide range of new and substantial data types that have
appeared over the last decade.
• Journalist Rick Smolan says big data is “the process of helping
the planet grow a nervous system, one in which we are just
another, human, type of sensor.

the sensors in Android devices to map special readings.
