The Government has been taking pro-active measures to make the Make In India initiative a hit!

1. FINANCE
• Promote RBI’s trade receivables
financing scheme for MSMEs
(TReDS)
• Cover payment risks arising only
from ‘factoring without recourse’ or
‘acquisition of receivables’ as
referred to in the Factoring Act
SKILL DEVELOPMENT LEGAL
• Introduce special dispensation for
revival and exit of MSMEs
• For revival, create provision for
financial assistance after requisite
approvals
• Define core skillset of blue
collared workers required for
high-employment generating
MSMEs
INFRASTRUCTURE
• Designate flatted factory clusters close to urban areas
with common support facilities (hard, soft)
• Facilitate groups of SMEs for joint land applications to
reduce burden of processing on state governments
CERTIFICATION &
STANDARDS
• Create appropriate programme for quality standards
and certification (both product and process) with BIS
and QCI support, and encourage adoption
