2. Price lists tell your sales agents what to charge for your products or services. You can
create multiple price lists so that you can maintain separate price structures for
different regions you sell your products in or for different sales channels. Coupon
codes / Promotional codes are used to increase their sales. Odoo sales management
supports the pricelist feature and we can apply discounts, price rules for products,
different prices for customers.
In Odoo eCommerce and online shopping a coupon code, or promo code, is a
computer-generated code, consisting of letters or numbers that consumers can enter
into a promotional box on a site’s shopping cart to obtain a discount on the current
purchase. Odoo supports the sales as well as the purchase pricelist’s functionality. So
we can apply pricelists for a product, vendor, customers and group of countries.

4. Pricelist is the list of prices for different products by customer and supplier wise. In
Odoo, there are different types of Pricelist:
1.Multiple sales prices per product :
This field is used to create pricelist for your customer section or used to set
various pricelist with various currencies.
2.Prices computed from formulas:
This field is used to set the price change rules. Changes can be compared to the
public price, product cost price, or to another pricelist.
At that time, you can be done calculations of changes that are made upon the
overcharges and discounts making it fit the minimum and maximum margin set by
the user.
Go to Sales -> Configuration -> Under the Pricing tab and tick the checkbox of
Multiple Sales Prices per product then click on the Save button.
5. Under the Product tab and select the Pricelist in the Sales module, at that time, you
can view the existing price list.
Go to Sales -> Products -> Pricelists and click on the Create button.
6. Whenever you want to create new Pricelists to click on the Create button in the
Pricelist tab.
7. Now you can fill the following required fields like name of the price list, Company
name, under price rule enter the following fields products, variants, Min Quantity,
Price, Start Date, End Date, etc.
8. After clicking on the Configuration tab now you can see the two types of discount
policy:
1.Discount included in the price: In this type of field, you do not show to the
customer public price and discounts.
2.Show public price and discount to the customer: In this type of field, you
show to the customer public price and discounts.
9. Under the Configuration tab now you can choose the country group. At that time you
can choose the existing country group or you can create a new country group by
clicking on the create button. Now you can fill the following required fields like group
name, country name, pricelist name, discount policy, select website, company, and
click on the save and close button.
10. After creating the Price list in the Sales module, now you can create a customer from
Europe country.
11. After creating the customer from Europe successfully and click on the Save
button without selecting the Pricelist manually. Under the Sales and Purchases
tab of the customer, you can view the price list (with country group EUR) is
updated automatically.
12. Now Lets' see how to set prices per customer segment and currencies :
Odoo Price list can also be used to manage the prices in Foreign Currencies.
Odoo provides features that support multi-currencies. Any company that does
international trade receives payments in different currencies.
First of all, you can install the Accounting module in your database. Enabling this
option allows for handling multiple currencies in Odoo.
Go to Accounting module -> Configuration -> Setting and enable “Allow
multi-currencies”, then click on Apply.
13. Now you can configure the currency rates. Go to Configuration -> Currencies.
Open the currencies and you can views the list of currencies and choose any currency
from the list that you want to use in Odoo and edit it. Make sure the currency is active.
Now Click on View Rates to view the history
14. At that time, you can set a products' sales price list at the public price in your
company's main currency.
15. Now Lets' see the two different price lists having two different currencies of product
Cable Management Box
Here the product Cable Management Box has two pricelist" "EUR(EUR)" and
Demo Pricelist(INR)" and both have set quantity one and prices as Euro 10 and
Rs 10 respectively

Now you can create a sales order. Go to Sales -> Orders -> Orders -> click on
the Create
button. At that time, select a customer and set pricelist as “EUR(EUR)” and add a
product.
17. At the same time, you can select the price list the price for the product Cable
Management Box is changed to the price of that individual price list.
Now, one has to change the price list to see the difference. At that time you can create
another sales order for the product Cable Management Box and set another price list
as “Demo Pricelist(INR)” then click on the confirm button to confirm the sale order.
18. At that time, you can view the difference.
Price computed from formulas:
Now, go to the Sales-> Configuration -> Setting -> under the Pricing section and
select the checkbox of multiple sales prices per product. Now you can enable the
second option Prices computed from formulas (discounts, margins, rounding's)
and click on the Save button.
19. At the same time, you tick this type of pricelist option then you can create a price list.
20. Now you can add the items for the price list and rules for the product Cable
Management Box. At that time, you can select the checkbox of All products and
formula and fill all the required fields like Min quantity, start date, end date, based on,
compute price, new price, pricing discount, rounding method, , Min margin, Max margin,
etc. then click on the Save button.
21. Now go to the sale order, select the price list and the price of the product Cable
Management Box is changed to the price of that individual price list.
22. E-Commerce Pricelist in Odoo
Now lets' see how to create e-Commerce pricelist in Odoo
Firstly, you can install the e-Commerce apps in your instance.
At that time you can fill the following fields like “E-commerce Promotional Code”,
apply discounts and the website on which the discount is provided.
23. Now Lets' see the list of all pricelist is working of selectable option. Only three
pricelist like EUR, Public Pricelist, and Demo Pricelist are allowed to use for the E-
commerce promotional code.
24. Whenever you want to create an e-Commerce pricelist in Odoo, Go to the Website
module and click on the Go To Website button in the e-Commerce dashboard. At that
time, you can click on the Shop button on the website.
Now you can click on the Pricelist section button then, your price will be changed
according to your price list.
25. Now you can create the new price list and apply the e-Commerce promo code. At
that time you can fill the following fields like “E-commerce Promotional Code” and add
the items for which you want to apply discounts and the website on which the
discount is provided.

name of the product, Min quantity, Price, Start date, End date.
28. At that time you can add the product in the cart on the Website. Now click on the Shop
button and select the product at that time add the product in the cart.
After successfully adding the product in the cart, your shopping cart will be displayed
on the screen.
Whenever you want to display the coupon code so click on the Customize button and
tick the checkbox of Coupon code.
29. Now you can view the ‘Customizable Desk (CONFIG)’ is having a 20% discount. At that
time click on the “Process Checkout” button to continue with your shopping.
