Why can startups move so efficiently? Why can’t we make it happen in an enterprise setting? We have so much more money, so many resources, really smart people who want to do things well. What is stopping us?
When you really boil it down, so many of the challenges we face are born out of complexity. There is a big difference between managing a single product and a portfolio of 100 products. In creating a vision and strategy that covers 18 verticals rather than a product strategy that is also your business strategy. And most enterprise orgs didn’t start out this complex.
