This workshop introduces the challenges and
opportunities of the oil and gas market of Iran. This
four sections program explains some introductions of
Iranian culture of lifestyle and work, market of oil and
gas and investing in Iran methods. This program
includes some valuable and essential information for
the companies who are doing or going to do business
with Iran

Section 1: Introduction on Iran
This section covers an overview of Iran and the people lifestyle including dishes, arts, main cities, tourist
attraction and history of Iran for getting a feeling of the country to the audiences.
Section 2: Iranian Business Culture
Understanding of the business culture is vital to establish a successful business in Iran. This section focuses on
the business culture of Iranian people and highlights some Do’s and Don’ts in the business with Iran.
Section 3: Business Development
According to the Iranian roles and regulation and the market behavior and also based on the product and
services, the method of business could be different. This section gives information on the challenges and
opportunities of starting business in Iran. At the end the Iranian free zones will be illustrated.
Section 4: Petroleum Market in Iran
Petroleum industries including oil and gas, petrochemical and refineries are the biggest business in Iran. This
section introduces how this market looks like, the investment methods in this business and the national Iranian
Oil company (NIOC) organization are presented.
Speaker Biography
Peyman Shahsavari (1972), Managing Director at Beimco
MSc degree in the electrical engineering, with more than 20
years’ experience mainly in oil and gas projects. Peyman started
his professional work in 1995 in Iran. In 2008, he was hired by an
international company in the field of oil and gas which leads him
to start a new working experience in the Netherlands. Peyman
established Beimco in 2015 in the Netherlands for connection
making between Iranian and European industrial firms based on
his working experience background, understanding of both side
culture of work and his connection in Iran and Europe. Beimco
has four mission lines including business development in planning
and operational trading, Engineering services in technology
transfer and special services, Investment solutions according to
the Iran laws and regulation and management consultancy
including communication, supply chain, decision support
customer relationship management services.
Who we are
Beimco has been founded in the Netherlands on a solid and strong
technical and engineering base to facilitate trading between Iranian and
European companies based on his experiences in Iran and Europe and
