improvement projects. Responsible for project management, administration and mentoring small
business and minority firms awarded various public transportation-related projects. Assist small
business contractors to successfully navigate through the agency's program requirements and processes,
and performance of the awarded projects to gain experience with subsequent opportunity in advancing to
bid on larger MTA projects. Review and present all general requirement and technical submittals,
project schedule updates, monitoring contractor progress, extra work proposals and estimates.
Administer project progress meetings, change order negotiations, review and process contractors'
payment requisitions. Coordinate agency departmental testing, inspections to achieve commissioning of

Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing ("M.E.P.") project manager and field superintendent on the
construction management team responsible for on-site management and administration of the plumbing,
fire suppression, electrical, mechanical, sheet metal ductwork, telecommunications, fire alarm and
building management system contracts. The new $80 million three story 99,842 gross square foot
building funded by the Dormitory Authority-State of NY consists of mechanical spaces that house all
the M.E.P. systems to serve a library and state-of-the-art classrooms. On-site daily supervision of
M.E.P. contractors during construction including resolving trade on site conflicts, daily manpower and
activity reports. Presided over contractor's coordination and foreman's meetings, certified testing of
systems, attended progress meetings and updated monthly project schedule; create request for
information, collaborated with contract design team of architects and engineers to resolve installation
matters, review and process of contractors' payment requisitions, and performed change order estimates
and negotiations.
TDX Construction 1998-2001
Baruch College Academic Complex, New York, NY
Responsible for the project management and coordination of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing
trades, supervision of steam fitters, plumber and electricians, chairing of coordination meetings,
attending progress meetings, resolving trade on site conflicts, review and recommendation of
contractor’s change orders and requisitions of the new building. Managed and supervised electrician
trades in the construction of a simulated stock market trading floor within the new facility. This multi-
million dollar new 16-story Academic Complex was funded by the NYS Dormitory Authority.
TDX Construction 1998-2001
Baruch College Graduate Facility, New York, NY
Responsibilities included the project scheduling, management, coordination of mechanical, electrical
and plumbing trades, and coordination and scheduling of NYC building inspections. This $6 million
project consisted of converting an existing former Family Court House to a Graduate Facility that was
funded by the NYS Dormitory Authority. Provided project management for the completion of the
modernization and renovations to the facility’s H.V.A.C., Plumbing and Boiler Plant systems with an
aggressive schedule to complete the project and obtain certificate of occupancy before the
commencement of the facility’s first year curriculum.

TDX-BECOM Joint Venture 1998-2001
Public School 360, Bronx, NY
Responsibilities included the project scheduling, management of all construction trades, negotiating
contracts of additional subcontractors to expedite various phases of construction and coordination of all
construction. This $5 million new elementary school was funded and supervised by The NYC School
Construction Authority. Due to the general contractor’s delays and deficient work, project management
was required to assist in completion of the school’s construction before the commencement of the new
school year. Due to contractor’s delays, construction was on an extremely fast-track aggressive
schedule so that the project be completed before for the school year. This required supervising two
separate crews of electricians, plumbers, carpenters, laborers, masons and painters on two-8 hour shifts
per day, seven days a week.
TDX-BECOM Joint Venture 1998-2001
I.S. 234 and Sheepshead Bay High School, Brooklyn, NY
Responsibilities included the project scheduling, management, planning and coordination of
construction of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general construction trades, and coordination and
scheduling of NYC building inspections. This $1.6 million project consisted of boiler plant conversion
of existing coal-fired boilers to new duel-fuel fired boilers and associated equipment. Provided project
management to administer the completion and close out of the boiler conversion plant. Construction
issues included a fast-track and aggressive schedule because the contracts required the boiler
conversions to be completed during the summer months after the end of the school year and before the
new school year along with the impending winter season.
Heritage Air Systems, Inc. 1989-1991
IKEA Home Furnishing Store, Hicksville, NY
Estimated, designed, arranged and coordinated the sheet metal systems and H.V.A.C. equipment for new
installation of the H.V.A.C. systems. Responsibilities included the negotiation of various contracts for
the procurement of equipment and materials; scheduled and supervised sheet metal tradesmen in the
installation, testing and commissioning of the new systems; this $7 million project consisted of the
construction of a new Ikea Home store.

City Center Theater, New York, NY
Designed, arranged and coordinated related equipment, piping and sheet metal systems for the
modernization and upgrade of the theater’s H.V.A.C. systems. Systems included: chilled water, hot
water heating; high pressure to low pressure steam station, condensate return systems, and related sheet
metal systems. Responsibilities included the coordination of H.V.A.C. piping and sheet metal systems,
scheduled and supervised steam fitters and sheet metal tradesmen in the installation, the negotiation of
various contracts for the procurement of equipment and materials, budget monitoring, change order
proposals, requisitions for payment, testing and commissioning of new H.V.A.C. systems.

Designed arranged and coordinated related equipment and piping on site for various nuclear power
systems within the Turbine Building on an isometric format for fabrication and installation. The
arranged piping systems included the design of the piping systems’ supports to meet the thermal and
seismic requirements. Monitored steam fitter’s activities during installation of self-designed piping
systems and resolved various piping interferences of other systems throughout the plant.

Performed an evaluation of delay, extra work and termination of the Fire Protection contractor on a $1.6
million claim on a multi million dollar residential project consisting of the renovation of an existing 5-
story structure and a new 25-story residential tower. Issues included lack of project schedule,
acceleration of contract work, missing daily reports, differing site conditions, changed work, added
work, and delays. The claim was settled in favor of the client based on the findings.

Ritz Carlton Dildo Hotel, South Miami Beach, FL
Provided an exposure analysis and reporting of the uncompleted mechanical, electrical and plumbing
systems; analyzed and recommended various payment and performance bond claims, estimation of
M.E.P. cost to complete and cost to date reconciliation; analysis and reporting of delays and acceleration
claims of the H.V.A.C. subcontractor. Due to default of the former contractor, litigation support and
expert testimony was provided. The project was an $80 million
hotel expansion that occupies the site of the former DiLido Hotel located in the Art Deco district of
South Beach.

plumbing contract work and avert the contractor’s termination of his contract by the general contractor.
Responsibilities included creating daily reports of manpower and work items, attending coordination
meetings, resolving on site installation conflicts and attending progress meetings. The plumbing
contractor completed all contract work and termination of contract was averted.

expansion of the existing New York State Thruway.
