2. Goji is a powerhouse of creative, and innovative thinkers, geared to take on your brand’s PR,
marketing and event needs and challenges – whatever they may be. With years of experience in
various fields, the collective energy, knowhow and love for their trade, makes Goji a company
always on the move and always on the inside track.
As uniquely put together as the products and services represented, the personalities behind (and in
front of) the scenes at Goji are the lifeblood of the company. A logo or a payoff line cannot do
justice to the enthusiasm and drive packaged (thinking of having it bottled...) into the individual at
the helm…
THE TEAM
Prior to incorporating herself within a matrix of new and exciting possibilities, Mimi Finestone was a
director of Matrix Advertising in the Garden Route, a partner in the successful events coordinating
venture of emint communications and the regional manager for Cansa in the Free State and
Southern Cape.
She gives new meaning to the words delivery, personal attention, and ‘service with a smile’. Her
creativity, flexibility and excellent conceptualisation skills have led to the successful management of
a wide spectrum of highly successful and visible public relations and events.
3. Alewijn Dippenaar is not only one of Interface by Goji’s collaborators, but also its secret weapon.
With a wealth of knowledge at his fingertips and decades of experience to call on, he is undoubtedly
the ultimate human resource. As founder and owner of Ocatagonal Decelopment, Alewijn has
worked in public and private sector across multiple and diverse communities for years facilitating
conferences, hosting seminars and presenting training workshops to, for instance formulate strategy
and policy for local government functioning.
His work has taken him all over with a variety of projects like Milanje, Mosambiek where he lead a
team tasked to establish an educational and agricultural project. He was also instrumental in setting
up international sister city relationships between Malmesbury (South Africa) and Malmesbury
(England), Markendal and Porterville, Velddrif and Wortegem to name a few.
Mariza van Deventer is driven to ensure the best possible outcome for every client, campaign or
event, her attitude and bubbly personality goes far in ensuring the ease of the clients, the calm in
the office and the smooth sailing of every project, be it large or small. One of her strongest
characteristics is that she takes ownership of everything she commits to and sees it through to the
very end to ensure that every “i” is dotted and every “t” crossed.
Her strong legal background makes her dependable and constant, there is no better asset in any
team. Especially one who thrives on realising potential, whether it is her own, her company’s or that
of a brand she is representing. Grounded and true, her mission is making life a little easier for the
people whose lives she impacts on a daily basis – a team player unlike any other.
4. Esté Coetzee, who did her internship at Goji during 2014 loves being in direct contact with clients
and the media and she has quickly developed essential PR and marketing skills. Her time at Goji has
been a valuable professional experience and it also proved to Este that she made the right career
choice. Previously she classified herself as a “PR enthusiast”. Now, with an internship under her belt,
she is a true PR professional.
Take your workload one step further by beginning to understand why you are doing this for a client,
not just what needs to be done. At Interface by Goji this is a passion and understanding your clients’
needs is priority.
‘New kid on the block’ Pauline Cloete’s energy levels are astonishing and without a doubt
contagious. She may be young, but already Pauline has a working record which bears witness of her
pure work ethics and determination to be the best is everything she commits to. As scholar and
student Pauline took the lead in every project she got involved in and contributed greatly to the
group dynamics…a skill she still implements today.
Pauline shows great heart for the less fortunate and initiated remarkable projects of upliftment and
up-cycling which will serve the communities where they were implemented for years to come.
The Goji Team is excited to have Pauline on board. Her organisational skills and natural ability to
complete projects with vigour will be of immense value.
5. Doing what we love…
What is life without a challenge? There is no brand that cannot benefit from media attention.
Someone once said that there is no such thing as bad publicity, only bad timing. Check out the
timing on these projects for a first-hand account of Goji’s get-up-and-go(ji)...
