Squarcia Founding Partner Paul is the founder of One Charles Private Wealth. A 15 year veteran of Merrill Lynch and the former Senior Resident Director for the Hyannis, MA complex. Paul led a staff of financial advisors in providing customized wealth management solutions for affluent individuals and their families, businesses and charitable organizations. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Squarcia spent 16 years in the corporate world. He held various positions in Business Development at State Street Global Advisors, Merck Company and Digital Cane Services/Sleep Med. Paul’s focus is on an integrated approach which takes into account the personal dynamics of the client’s family wealth. Mr. Squarcia is known as a valuable resources for successful entrepreneurs. He understands the complexities inherent in business ownership. By identifying opportunities and challenges and using the appropriate estate planning and money management strategies, Paul helps provides recommendations for the preservation and transfer of wealth to future generations. Fusco Financial Services Professional Paul joined One Charles Private Wealth after 20 years in the investment management industry, where he focused on portfolio management of financial companies for both global mutual funds and hedge funds.  Paul began his investment career at State Street Bank and Trust after graduation from Bryant College in 1994.  He then served as an analyst on John Hancock’s $13 billion dollar Regional Bank Fund, and co-manager of John Hancock’s $2 billion dollar Financial Industries Fund.  Subsequently, Paul became a senior analyst for financially focused hedge funds at Fontana Capital LLC, Tisbury Capital LLC, and was founder and portfolio manager of Núuk Capital.  Then he moved into the insurance industry and went on to work at New York Life. Paul has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Boston Globe, NY Times, Barron’s, Bloomberg and other financial periodicals.  He had a weekly radio spot on WBIX, has appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg TV.   Paul serves as President of the Marshfield Girls Lacrosse Club, volunteers at the Children’s Room, Boys and Girls Club, and the Comfort Zone Camp.
