3. WHAT IS ACCELEROMETER?
• An accelerometer is an electromechanical
device that measures acceleration forces.
• The vast majority is based on
piezoelectric crystals, but they are too big
and to clumsy.

• This method is used where there are devices who have

• It is known that any motor or any other rotating mechanism
will have vibrations during its working condition.
• MEMS sensor is used to keep track of these vibration so
that the machine health can be observed.
