1. Modern Ecological State of Azerbaijan and Ways
for Solving of Ecological Problems

2. Term "ecological problems" is today mostly used to describe different
environmental problems. After all, ecology is top environmental science,
and many people identify ecology as some sort of science that is
primarily oriented on protection of our environment. This is only a partial
meaning of what ecology really stands for, and this is the interconnection
between all living organisms and their environment.

4. The accumulation of
harmful substances on the
ground, water and air
causes pollution.
Dissapearance of forest,
cutting down of trees,
pollution and fires cause
Desertification.

some landscapes
into desert areas
when the soil
becomes dry and
poor is called
desertification
Habitat loss
occurs when
natural areas are
destroyed to
make room for
housing or
industry.
Excessive
development,
hunting, fires and
other actions
cause extinction
of animals.

7. Many environmental problems are caused by human
actions. That is why we are responsible for finding
solutions to these problems.
1.Reduce
pollution:
reduce the amount
of garbage we
produce.

8. 2. Avoid cutting down
trees: we can plant trees in
agricultural areas or
substitute wood for other
materials.
3. Outlaw the hunting of
animals: if animals are in
danger of extinction.

9. 4. Protect specific natual areas: they
are important becuase of their natural
resources. Hunting and cutting trees must
be forbidden.

10. One of important steps in improvement of ecological situation
in Azerbaijan can be considered a year of 2010. In the Feb 18 of
the same year country president has called a special meeting
dedicated to ecological problems. Current ecological problems
and works implemented for their solution. Millions trees have
been planted in the frame of Year of ecology in the capital and
other big cities, regions, social discussions have been held on
environment problems and other initiatives have been realized
