2. Planning Phase
• In order for me to create my website, there was a lot of planning that was needed to
be done for example I need to plan the layout of my website, I needed to plan when I
was going to do and how long I was going to do it for.
• To help me plan for these jobs, I used Moodboards, Storyboards, page layout, etc.
• Using these ways helped give me a clear idea on how I was going to create my
website, when I was going to create a certain part like the menu.

3. Project Log
• To organise when I was going to do a certain
part of the website and how long I was going to
do it for, I used a Gantt chart.
• Using the chart, I was able to enter the what
the task was, how long I wanted to do it and the
start and end time.
• Another good thing about using a Gantt chart is
that if you finish one task you can basically tick
that on off so you can focus on the other task in
hand.
• Using a Gantt chart is also brilliant due to that
it adds up all the days that I want to spend on
each task and add it all up so I can see how long
the overall time that I will need to spend on
each part of the project.
4. Designing the Website
• According to my log I have planned to spend 7 days on the designing the website. To
design my Moodboard, Storyboard etc, I first sketched them on paper, then created
them on the internet with some images, colours that I wanted to use.
The Moodboard: 2 days
The Storyboard: 1 day
The Layout: 2 days
And then finally Designing the Banner: 2 days
5. Creating the Website
• According to my log I have planned to spend 16 days on the creating the website. To
create my website I used Notepad ++, using this made it easier to create websites and
does a lot of work for you also making it quicker.
Creating the template for my website with the design on it: 2 days
Adding Colour, Pictures, Link: 1 day
Creating the Banner:2 days
Creating different pages for the different topics: 3 days
Create and add a Menu: 4 days
Then finally Adding Information: 3 days
6. Testing my Website
• According to my log I have planned to spend 6 days on
the testing of the website. When I was happy with the
design, layout of my website, I tested it all to make sure
it all worked.
Testing the links: 2 days
Testing the Pages work: 2 days
Then finally Testing the Menu:
1 day
7. Closing Phase
• After I tested all of the different compartments of
the website, I was finally happy with everything, so I
decided to close the project and hand it over.
• But before that I made sure that they were not any
risks that could cause the website to fall apart for
example while I was testing the menu, I found that
some of the pages did not work due to me not
putting the right name to link that page to the page
that I wanted it to lead to, this was easily solved but
me checking and putting the right name in, once I
had did that everything work fine again.
